Acacia Energy provides access to the AEMO wholesale spot market and Frequency Control Ancillary Services (FCAS) market and optimises your return from participation in these markets.

We use our AEMO participant registrations to act in these markets on your behalf. This allows small batteries that individually would not be big enough to participate in these markets to gain a proportional return from our aggregated portfolio. Providing opportunity to buy and sell electricity at the wholesale spot market price and to earn income from the FCAS market.

Using the OBE platform, we autonomously monitor and control each battery individually to optimise the income from the sale of exported electricity at the wholesale market spot price and being enabled for responding to FCAS events and the cost of recharging the battery to achieve the optimal state of charge.
